How It Works

Runway Junkie is an online community of women who buy and sell high-end designer clothing and accessories.

And we’re so much more—we go beyond fashion by sharing knowledge and insight about social issues that affect women, inspiring and empowering each other to feel as good as we look. To that end, Runway Junkie contributes 10% of our profits to women-oriented organizations chosen by our community.

Sellers

Clean out your closet or clear out the local sample sale and list your goodies on Runway Junkie.

It's Simple! Just snap a couple of pics of your authentic designer items, fill out your listing details, pay a small fee to create your listing and voila! ...buyers can start contacting you immediately.

Because Runway Junkie is not an auction site, you decide the price of your items. Listings are active for three weeks or until it sells. If your item doesn’t sell within that time, you can simply edit and re-list your item.  

Runway Junkie caters to a high-end clientele and focuses on legitimate new and gently used designer goods. Please review the list of designer brands you can sell and our merchandise condition guidelines to ensure your items are right for our clients.

Buyers

Feel good about indulging your passion for couture. When you buy through Runway Junkie, you’re part of a socially aware community of women and your purchases support women-oriented nonprofit organizations that you help choose. You also get to update your closet with high-fashion clothing and accessories—sometimes directly from famous and up-and-coming designers, sometimes brand-new, never more than gently used—at fabulous prices.

Fashion Designers

Whether you’re an established fashion brand or an up-and-coming avant-garde designer, Runway Junkie is for you. Test out new designs, sell your seconds and samples, and boost your brand exposure to a clientele that is passionate about your collection.

Shipping

Shipping methods and costs are determined between the Buyer and Seller of the item.
When listing an item for sale, the Seller has two (2) shipping method options to choose from:
1. to ship via USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail
2. to negotiate the method with the Buyer (this includes FedEx, UPS and DHL)

We encourage our members to use USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail but understand when there may be a need to overnight an item - need those shoes for Friday's party?!

USPS offers free boxes in three (3) sizes perfect for most items sold on Runway Junkie*:
Small Flat Rate Priority Mail Boxes: $4.95 Domestic Priority Mail
Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail Boxes: $10.70 Domestic Priority Mail
Large Flat Rate Priority Mail Boxes: $14.50 Domestic Priority Mail
